Susan J. "Sue" Kime, age 71, of Toledo, passed away on Monday evening, June 3, 2019 at Ebeid Hospice with her family by her side. She was born on July 18, 1947 to George and Alice (Mason) Fodor in Newark, New Jersey. Sue was a 1969 graduate of Juanita College and in her younger years she was a Pastor at the Church of Brethren in Ohio and Michigan. Shortly before her retirement, she lived in Craig, Colorado with her husband, Robert "Bob" Kime, where Sue worked as a case manager with a local group home for the developmentally disabled. Sue enjoyed sewing and crocheting and created many different Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. While in Colorado Sue and her husband enjoyed the great outdoors, often they camped every weekend. Sue also loved her pet birds, Puppy, Willow and Phoebe. Above all, family was most important to Sue. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mom, grandma and granny who always knew how to pick-out the best gifts!
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Kime; children, Amy (Donn) Wobser, Jennifer (Steven) Pieronek and Erin Collins (Vic Tripp); Debra (Jeff) Grochowski, Denise (Clyde) Cole, Todd (Peggy) Kime, Diane (Russ) Arbogast and Rob (Laura) Kime; grandchildren, Drew, Madison, Alex, Abbey, Reanna, Mindi, Jamie, Nicole, Heather, Devin, Steven, Robbie and Kenny; great-grandchildren, Skyler, Alaina, Lilly, Blake, Pilar, Collin, Olivia, Kinsley and Zachary; sister, Jan (Mike) Dudek; nephew, Ben Dudek and niece, Sarah Dudek. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with her Memorial Service starting at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Andy Hill officiating.
In Sue's memory, memorial contributions may be made to N.W.O. Alzheimer's Association.
