Susan Catherine Davenport

Susan Catherine (Ellis) Davenport, age 57, of Toledo, passed away December 27, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Sue was born April 1, 1965 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Ann (Gilbert) Ellis.

Sue was a beautiful, down to earth soul, who was truly a blessing to be around. She was a loving mother, nana, aunt, cousin, and friend to everyone. Sue loved nature, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandsons, who she adored.

In addition to her father, Sue was also preceded in death by her brothers, Chuckie and Louie (Ellis); sister-in-law, Kasey Ellis. She is survived by her mother, Ann Ellis; daughters, Stephanie Davenport and Brittanie (Matthew) Reichardt; son, Mark Davenport (Niki Canales); six grandsons; Noah Anderson, Cooper Reichardt, Owen Anderson, Easton Reichardt, Aiden Reichardt, and Quinn Anderson; brothers, Gerard (Jen) Ellis, Zach (Patty) Ellis, Bill Ellis, Adam Ellis, Frank Ellis; sister, Veronica (Tyrone) Hall and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive guests Monday, January 2, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions- Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd (419-381-1900). Memorial Services will begin Monday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Sue's memory.
