Sue Totty

Sue Totty, age 81, of Toledo, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on March 6, 1924 to John and Rosa (Coble) Dodd in Centerville, TN. Sue worked as a color technician, along with her sister Louise Hedge, for Ma Chere and Charles for Hair for 50 years.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband B.T. Totty, sisters, Louise Hedge, Tom Ella Hill, and brother John Dodd, Jr. She is survived by her only child: Bonnie (Butch) Szymanski; grandchildren: Tina (Gary) Schoettley and Shelly (Dan) Larned; great-grandchildren: Tara Schoettley, Amanda, Evan, and Ethan Larned; sister: Dorothy Barson, of Mesa, AZ; and nephew: Charles (Shirley) Burns.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, August 28, 2005 from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, (419-473-0300). A Funeral Service will take place Monday, at 12:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 Laskey Rd. Pastor Bruce Snyder officiating.
