Suzi Muniz, age 64, passed away on January 16, 2018. She was born on October 19, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio.
Suzi was preceded in death by her parents, Dolloras and Virgil Smith; son, Tony Muniz; brother, Kriss Walters. She is survived by her daughters, Catalina Muniz and Brandi Wright; siblings, Jerry Hitzka, Ron (Dianna) Hitzka, Virgil Smith, Cathy (Kent) Beals, Amy Smith and Tina Schropshire; grandchildren, Anthony, Amanda, Ashley, Rayshon, Jayleen, Caseyon and Tabitha; many nieces and nephews.
Suzi was passionate about her family, Native American music and culture, shooting pool and the country. She enjoyed trips to Virginia with her family and lived there for several years. Suzi was well known for her hundreds of houseplants and love for ice cream.
The family will receive guests from 2-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
