Thelma M. "Sue" Burrow, age 77, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born on May 22, 1934 to Henry and Maybell (Fischer) Ludwig in Bowling Green, Ohio. Sue was employed as the custodial supervisor with Bowling Green State University until retiring after 33 years of service. She was a devout Seventh-day Adventist and active in the fellowship of Toledo First Seventh-day Adventist Church. Sue loved to travel with her husband all around the world. She was a lover of all animals, including local strays. Sue was healthy until the very end; she was a breast cancer survivor as well. She always worked hard to provide a life for her family and was very giving of her time, putting others before herself often. This could be seen by the many friends and loved ones who visited her in her final days. Sue was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Sean Burrow; father-in-law, Norman Burrow, Sr.; mother-in-law, Goldie Cramer; and special friend, Stacey Stalker. Sue is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Norman Burrow, Jr.; daughter, Shannon (Cory) Higgins; sisters, Marie Lowe, Clara and Edith Dilsaver and Rosie (William) Kendig; nephew, David (Mary) Dilsaver; and many other dear friends and family.
