Steven J. Pietszak

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away June 2 at age 79. He was born May 22, 1938 to Joseph and Mary Pietszak. Steven lived in Toledo until he joined the US. Marine Corps. He was a proud U.S. Marine Corps. Veteran. Steve enjoyed living in Florida during the winter months, gardening, boating, fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles, but most of all being with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Reder; brother, David; and son Steven II. Left to cherish Steven's memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Patsy; adored daughter, Sherry; special son-in-law, Tom Mihalec; wonderful grandsons, Steve and Tyler Mihalec; brother, James (Val); sister, Marie Wentland; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

There will be no visitation for Steven at this time, and a Gathering to Celebrate his life will be held at a later date. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
