Steven Owens

Steven A. "Steve" Owens, age 25 of Lambertville passed away Friday, July 15, 2011. He was born September 24, 1985 to Wilton "Bill" and Shannon (Eby) Owens in Toledo. Steve was a 2003 graduate of Stateline Christian School. He was a member of Lewis Avenue Baptist Church and he was employed at Kroger's in Lambertville. Steve was an avid gamer, in his spare time he loved watching movies and sports. His gentle personality was always projected towards others, he always did his best to make people smile and he had a great desire to make others happy. Steve will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his parents; brother, Nicholas; sister, Katlynn; maternal grandma, Loretta Eby and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Wilton and Sherry Owens and maternal grandpa, Richard Eby.

The family will receive guests Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Lewis Avenue Baptist Church, 6320 Lewis Ave., Temperance, Michigan, where the family will gather with guests one hour prior to the service. Pastor Steve Hobbins officiating.
