Steven C. Stickley

Steven C. "Steve" Stickley, age 57, of Maumee, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born on January 12, 1956 to Richard and LaDonna (Couturier) Stickley in Toledo. Steve was a Toledo Police Officer for 18 years, retiring as a Sergeant. He was very handy and helpful, often enjoying remodeling things around the home. Steve was very social and never met a stranger. He looked forward to outdoor social gatherings. Steve loved the time spent with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father. Steve is survived by his loving wife of almost 22 years, Sue Stickley; sons, Shawn and Ryan Stickley; mom, LaDonna (Richard) Shane; siblings, Rick (Denise) Stickley, Cindy (Mark) Klepacz, Gary Stickley and Dana (Renee) Shane; brother-in-law, Jim (Mary Alice) Hoffman; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900).
