Steven Bettinger

Steven "Steve" Dean Bettinger, age 53, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born on February 6, 1953 to Leo and Levora (Gibson) Bettinger in Toledo. Steve was employed with Daimler Chrysler Corp. for the last 9 years, working on the assembly line. He was an avid outdoorsman, liked history and was very involved with AA. Steve enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family especially his grandson Derrick.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo H. Bettinger. Steve is survived by his wife: Teresa Ann Bettinger; son: Derrick John (Rachael Anne Dayton) Bettinger; grandson: Derrick John Bettinger, Jr.; mother: Levora Bettinger; brothers: Michael and David (Bonnie) Bettinger; and his good friend: John H. Merren.

A Memorial Service will be held in Steven's honor, on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 428 N. Erie St., Toledo. Officiating will be Pastor Stephen S. Bull.

The Newcomer Funeral Home, (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.
