Steve Bailey Milliken, Jr, age 40, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in his home. He was born on May 22, 1967 to Steve and Anne (Batstra) Milliken, Sr. in Toledo. Steve was very athletic and loved all sports. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his Harley, especially taking long trips. Steve was employed with Ankenbrandt Plumbing and was a Journeyman Plumber, a master of his trade for many years. He was very dedicated and thoroughly enjoyed his work. Steve loved spending time with his dogs, Bobo, Ben and Roxanne who will deeply miss their master.
He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and one of his faithful companions, Roxanne, who went to be with him on February 20, 2008. Steve is survived by his loving family, mother: Anne & Chris Lippincott; father: Steve & Debbie Milliken, Sr; brothers: Rod and Chris Lippincott & Mark and David Milliken; sister: Elizabeth Milliken; his 2 dogs: Bobo and Ben; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
A Memorial Service will take place in honor of Steve, Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, 1545 Eastgate Rd., Toledo, OH 43614. The Newcomer Funeral Home assisted the family with professional services.
