Stevie E. Grinter, Sr.

Stevie Eugene Grinter, 67 years old was born January 15, 1957 in Alliance, Oh. Being the 14th child born into the union to Theodore and Eular Grinter. He received his clearance for take off. And received his wings on October 23, 2024 to be with the Lord. 

Stevie received his education for the Alliance Public School system. To further his education by attending the Akron University. And University of Toledo. Majoring in Business Administration. He proudly served 4 years in the U. S. Air Force stationed in Hawaii. He was a great golfer. And enjoyed playing until the failing of his health. The time while living in Los Vegas, Nevada & Los Angeles, California. He enjoyed bragging and talking trash to his fellow golfers. In his early life he enjoyed being an avid tennis player. 

Steve leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife Kanisha Grinter. His sons Etienne Grinter, Ismail Abdul - Rahim (Stacie), Bruce Greer. Daughters Kianna Dorsey, Bianca Grinter (Dennis Draper), Lora Grinter, & Ayesha (Alfred) Harris. 

Sister Carlis (Earl) Stevens Jr. 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mother in law Michelle Watkins. Along with many beautiful nieces, nephews, family & friends. 

Steve was proceeded in death by his parents. 12 siblings are from the same union in marriage. 

The family will receive guests on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, where a Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm.
