Stephen P. Brock, Sr.

Stephen P. "Steve" Brock, Sr., age 60, of Oregon, passed away peacefully Friday June 1, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania with his loving family by his side. He was born January 4, 1958 to James and Roberta (Lewis) Brock in Toledo. Steve worked at IGA and then retired from Save-A-Lot after many years. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family. Steve will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Brock. Steve is survived by his children, Steven (Angel) Brock, Jr., Teresa (Mike) Langendonk, and Amber Brock; grandchildren, Mariah, Ivory, Mahryssa, Skyla, Kaylie, Starrlyn, Johnthan, Ambraih and Jazmin; 1 great-grandchild on the way; father, James Brock; siblings, Gary (Nancy) Brock, Jill (Brian) Tilden and Donald Brock; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the family to help offset funeral luncheon expenses.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff and caregivers at Ebeid Hospice for all of their love, care and support given to Steve and his family through this difficult time.
