Stefania Maziarz

Stefania Maziarz, age 90, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 17, 2021, at Spring Meadows nursing home, in Holland, Ohio. She was born on November 30, 1930, in Kolbuszowa, Poland, to the late Julian and Maria (Magda) Jachyra.
Stefania, who had a big heart and was very giving, enjoyed cooking and baking, especially Polish food. She was known for her delicious Polish recipes. A few of them being, her bread and coffee cake. Stefania also loved to garden. Most of all, she loved and cherished spending time with her family; they were very important to her.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her children, Ann Mierzejewski, Rick Maziarz, Joe Maziarz, James Maziarz, John Maziarz Tony (Lauren) Maziarz; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and a brother, Julian Jachyra.
In addition to her parents, Stefania was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Maziarz; and two brothers, Edek and Stanislaw Jachyra.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 11:00 am, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Toledo, with Pastor Roy Southerland officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.NewcomerToledo.com.
