Stanley C. Zawacki Jr.
Stanley C. Zawacki, Jr., age 87, formerly of North Toledo passed away Friday September 24, 2004 at the Arbors of Oregon Nursing Home. He was born in Toledo September 15, 1917 to Stanley Sr. and Stephanie (Romanezuk) Zawacki. He was employed by Auto-Lite, and retired from G.M. Powertrain. He served in the Army-Air Corp During W.W. II. He was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Clara (Kubiak), brother Frank Zawacki, and sister Jeanette Dombrowski.
He is survived by children Michael (Darlene) Zawacki, and Kathleen (Sam) Fisher; sister Sophie Waniewski; grandchildren Julie, Christine, Michael, Jr., and Emily; great-grandchildren Alexis, Elizabeth, Morgan, and Spencer.
The family will receive guests Monday from 2-8 P.M. at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Prayer services will begin Tuesday at 9:15 A.M. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be begin at 10:00 A.M. at St. Adalbert Catholic Church 3233 Lagrange St. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
