Stanley Norman, 59, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2014. He was born on March 18, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio.
Stan retired in 2004 from Chrysler Jeep after 30 years of service. He was a lifelong Detroit Pistons and Tigers fan. Stan enjoyed visiting various casinos with his wife, Rhonda and family. He liked gardening and listening to classic rock. Stan also enjoyed bowling, golfing, softball and fishing with his brothers. But most important to him was his family, and he especially adored his grandson.
Stan was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Norman. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 35 years, Rhonda; son, Chad (Nicolle); daughter, Tara (John) Winger; siblings, Phyllis (Roy), Kenneth (Mary), Daniel (Joan) and Janice (Larry); grandson, Zane Winger; loyal friend, Roy Sepulveda; his "guardian angel" cat, BenBen and "fat girl", Pumpkin.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, May 11, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at St. Joseph Church, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
