Stanley F. Lewandowski

Stanley F. Lewandowski, age 63, of Toledo, Ohio passed away December 6, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. He was born January 6, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to Stanley and Mabel (Hazlett) Lewandowski. Stan served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed with the United States Postal Service for more than 5 years retiring in 1994. Stan was a friend of Bill W. since 1991. He enjoyed nature, researching family history and write poetry and songs.

Stan is survived by his children, Michella L. (Brian) Baldock, Stanley A.F. Lewandowski, III, and Genove M. (Sammy Prince, III) Lewandowski-Prince; grandchildren, Marlena Lewandowski, Briana Baldock, Anthony Baldock, Ra'Shawn Prince, Samira Lewandowski and Dakotah Huston; great-granddaughter, Roselynn Lewandowski; former wife, Silvia Barker and canine companion, "Mojo." In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his great granddaughter, Seraina Gillespie and his brothers and sisters.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 10:30 am. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Stan's memory.
