Stanley A. Golembiewski

Stanley A. Golembiewski, age 79 of Toledo passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2003 in Fairview Manor Nursing Home. He was born March 4, 1923 to Anthony and Pauline (Zielinski) Golembiewski in Toledo. Stanley was employed with Inter-State Trucking for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters and St. Clement Church. Stanley was very mechanical and enjoyed working on engines and cars of all sorts.

In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his wife; Jacqueline Golembiewski, son; Joseph Golembiewski and sister; Jeannette Reineke. He is survived by his loving daughter; Linda (Bill Stover) Cannon, grandsons; Aaron and Jason Cannon both of Canada, sister; Rosemarie (Roman) Gardocki of Toledo, nieces, nephews and dear friends and neighbors; Don and Joy Whitt and John Amstutz.

The family will receive guests Friday from 3-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Scripture Services will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:15 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. Officiating will be Fr. Edward Littelman. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Fairview Nursing Home.
