Shirline Cavin

Shirline "Shirley" Cavin, age 76, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 30, 2017 at her home surrounded by loving family. She was born on September 24, 1941 to Luther and Audrey McGaha in Kingsport, Tennessee. She enjoyed cooking, dancing and bowling. Shirley was a social butterfly and loved nothing more than spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cavin; and brother, Philip McGaha. Shirley is survived by her children, Tasha (Kevin) Welsh, Barbara (Keith) Taylor, Philip Cavin and Sherri Nierman; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, David, Neal, Danny, Robbie, Michael, Elaine and Mary Helen; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
