Shirley Yingling

Shirley A. Yingling, age 73, went to be with her beloved family Friday, April 21, 2006 at Harborside of Sylvania. She was born September 3, 1932 to Ovila and Anne (LaComb) Veilleux in Toledo. Shirley was a loving and caring person who was loved by her family and friends. She was known to her family and many friends at Harborside as "Pretty Lady. She was a fighter to the very end and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Rick; brother, Robert and sister, Carol Veilleux. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Chris (Connie) Yingling; Keith (Debbie) Yingling; 8 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Yvonne Rosiak; brother, Bruce (Joanne) Veilleux and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Monday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Deacon Wilbur Moore. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to nurses and aides , Vallarie; Patty; Cathy; Jan; Reno; Pam and Teresa, for the loving care and kindness they provided for Shirley during her stay at Harborside of Sylvania.

A big thank you also goes to Heartland Hospice for the care they gave to Shirley and her family.
