Shirley A. Sartain, age 82, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Aspen Grove Assisted Living Residence, Lambertville, MI. She was born on May 12, 1934 to Lewis and Mathilda (Mueller) Arnold in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art and worked as a Professional Artist. Shirley enjoyed gardening and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wendell Sartain. Shirley is survived by her son, Gary (Dawn) Sartain; and daughter, Deborah (Dan) Paul.
Graveside Services for Shirley will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association.
