Shirley L.(Kennedy) Utell

Shirley L. "Lori" (Kennedy) Utell, age 56, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 6, 2013 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 23, 1957 to James and Shirley (Johnson) Paquin in Toledo. Lori enjoyed sewing, doing puzzles, and reading and was an excellent baker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lori was a very giving woman, with a big heart; she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Tom Lee; and brothers, Bobby, Steve and Ricky Paquin. Lori is survived by her loving husband of almost 2 years, Paul Utell; children, Harold, Ryan and Sara Kennedy; grandchildren, Dylan, Donovan, David, Dayton, Daxton, Mahlayna and Claire; sisters, Debbie (Juan) Duarte and Melissa Ritchey; mother-in-law, Gloria (Walter) Jablonski; father of her children, Harold Kennedy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

There will be no visitation for Lori. Memorial Services will be private. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions in honor of Lori are asked to consider the American Cancer Society or the Toledo Humane Society.
