Shirley Ann Hoobler

Shirley A. Hoobler, age 87, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday evening, September 25, 2019 at Arbors at Oregon & The Willows. She was born on November 29, 1931 to William Paul and Anna E. (Heckart) Hier in Toledo. She was a 1949 graduate of Libbey High School and had worked at Woolworth's and The Lion Store as an account receivable clerk. Shirley also worked at City Loan & Savings. Shirley married the love of her life, Earl R. Hoobler in November 26, 1948 and together they shared 59 years of marriage. She enjoyed traveling, scrap booking, her occasional lottery scratch-offs and spending time with her precious family.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert (Les) Hoobler; daughter, Sheri Ulinski; grandchildren, Heather (George) McAllister, Jennifer Behrendt, Lyndse Gwaelin, Michael (Miranda) Behrendt and Bailey (Curtis) Hoobler; great-grandchildren, Austin, Joey, Amber, Alex, Mika, Kendall, Riah, Lollie, Norman, Thoren and Latham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Hoobler.

At Shirley's request, her family will have a private gathering to celebrate her life.
