Shirley Gibson

Shirley D. Gibson, age 71, of Toledo, formerly of Owenton, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 21, 1935 to Robert and Anna (Davis) Gibson, in Toledo. Shirley was a wonderful, loving, caring person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Yolanda and 3 grandsons, Robbie, Michael and Gary Allen, Jr. Shirley is survived by her loving family, children: E. Howard (Kathy), Robert (Jennifer) DePew, Juiwanna (George) Mullins, Michael and Gary DePew; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister: Priscilla Marshall; brother: Jim (Donna) Gibson; longtime friend: Aunt Juanita; and many other family members and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, August 24, 2007 (today) at 5:00 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God, 5025 Glendale Ave., Toledo. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family the arrangements.
