Shirley A. Flannagan

Shirley A. Flannagan, age 82, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Vibrant Life Senior Living, Temperance, MI. She was born April 16, 1936 to Leroy and Bonnie Fachman. She was a registered nurse at Toledo Health and Retiree Center and St. Charles Hospital before retiring in 1998. Shirley enjoyed Notre Dame Football, going to Destin Florida and watching her grandchildren play sports.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, John "Jack" Flannagan; son, Gregg. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Diann (Mike) Dawson and Brenda (Brian) Garmon; grandchildren, Nikki (Dave) Dawson, Kristi (Jerry Jr.) Russell, and Kellen and Keera Garmon; great-grandchildren, Mikaela Dawson, Skylar Baker, and Kiley and Sophie Kops and sister, Alice Wright.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 3 - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Coeli Catholic Parish, 530 Regina Parkway, Toledo with gathering beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Please attend in casual dress and "show your Irish spirit!"
