Shirley Baker

Shirley Ann Baker, 74, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2007 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg after a courageous battle with cancer and other complications. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 26, 1933 and worked for over 15 years at Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Baker and son, Gary M. Baker. She is survived by her sons, Don (Julie), Dave and Greg (Lori); sister, Jean Hrin; grandchildren, Danny; Jennie; Chad; Cathy; Joshua and Kelly and great-grandson, Steven.

The family will receive guests Friday from 4-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
