Shirley A. Jahns

Shirley A. Jahns, age 72, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Monday, October 6, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on August 28, 1936 to Worth and Elizabeth (Bisonette) Hanna in Toledo. Shirley enjoyed crocheting and doing crosswords. She always liked donating her time to help others. Shirley loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Shirley is survived by her children, Willard (Alva) Stamper, Robert (Allison) Stamper, Mary (David) Cichocki and Barry (Tracy) Stamper; grandchildren, Nicholas, Justin, Jessica, Joshua, Garrison, Josh, Ashly and Katelyn; siblings, Beverly Whitney, Marilyn Stroud, Carol Leedy, Nancy LaDuke, Elene (Dean) West, Willard (Judy) Hanna, James Hanna and Patricia Cutcher; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
