Sheryl Ann McKeown

Sheryl Ann McKeown, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at home, Saturday, November 23, 2024. Born on February 10, 1945, her warmth, humor, and compassion will be deeply missed by the family and friends who loved her dearly. 

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Kristin McKeown and granddaughters, Addison and Harper Sentle; son, Sean McKeown-Young, son-in-law, John McKeown-Young, and grandsons, Aidan and Jameson McKeown-Young; and close friends, especially Sue Dumont, Rita Hancock and Carol Ludwig. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Charles McKeown, and parents, Lorraine and Elias Caraboolad. We are comforted that Sheryl passed away surrounded by the love and support of her children, grandchildren, family and life-long friends. She lived a full, generous and faithful life, and can now be reunited with her beloved husband, mother and father. 

 The family will receive guests on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo., with Memorial Mass beginning at 11:00 am. An open house will follow at the McKeown-Young home, 2114 Bridlewood Dr., Toledo, Ohio 43614, from 1:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo, Ohio.
