Sherrie Marie Zeller

Sherrie Marie Zeller, age 67, of Toledo, passed away January 19, 2024 at Regency Hospital of Toledo. Sherrie was born February 27, 1956 in Toledo to Eugene and Barbara (Forest) Polodna, the youngest of their six children, she was affectionately known as "Meme" to her siblings. She was a 1974 graduate of Start High School. On July 12, 1974, Sherrie married the love of her life, Richard Zeller. Sherrie was employed with Teledyne as an administrative assistant, retiring after 35 plus years. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and traveling with her family. She was an avid Soap Opera viewer, never missing an episode, and she loved playing Stardew Valley with her husband. She adored being a "Memaw" and spending time with her family. Sherrie was also a member of the Red Hat Society for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert (Joanne) Polodna and Susan Little. Sherrie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard Zeller; children, Regina (Rick) Ulrich and Daniel (Tonya) Zeller; siblings, Kathy Durbin, Steven (Leigh) Polodna, and Elizabeth Durham; grandchildren, Robert Ricard, Samantha (Kyle) Smith, Richard Ulrich, Jr, Alex (Kate) Zeller, Addisen Zeller, Rebecca (Justin) Burkett, Hannah (Dennis) Beddow, Holden Ulrich, Jessica Borrmann, and Mikayla (Logan) Irons; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300), 4150 N. Laskey Rd, Toledo. A Funeral Service will begin Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
