Sheila R. Jaynes

Shelia R. Jaynes, age 59, of Toledo, passed away January 19, 2018 at Bay Park Hospital. Shelia was born January 9, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio to Nathaniel and Mary Jaynes. Shelia received Christ at an early age and enjoyed sharing the word of the Gospel. She was a member of The Missionary at Mt. Pilgrim Church. Before her health declined, she loved hosting family and friends and often volunteered at local charities.

In addition to her father, Shelia was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Bohannon and brother, Nathan Jaynes. She is survived by her children, Shawnte' Jaynes and Izanuel Foster; the father of her children, Zandy Foster; six grandchildren, Osean, Jaynes, Izanuel, Zamarri, Izaiah and Zendaya; mother, Mary Jaynes; sisters, Denise Jaynes, Vicky (Jacob) Gafney; brothers, LaGrant, Anthony, and Keith Jaynes; sisters-in-law, Dianne, Tommi and Laurie; former spouse, Tony James and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and special friends Ester, Sister Cox, Sylvia, Mrs. Williams, Maxine and Mrs. Vernell.

The family will receive guests Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300). Repast to follow at Crane's Landing, 3315 Mayo, Toledo, Ohio 43611.
