Sharon Zupancic

Sharon L. (Dickens) Zupancic, age 65 , of Maumee, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Advanced Specialty Hospital in Toledo surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 15, 1947 in Toledo to Peter and Alice (McDonnell) Tressler. Sharon was last employed by the MCO Family Practice as an administrative assistant for 3 years. She was a member and past matron of the Eastern Star, Mae Elliott Chapter. Sharon enjoyed painting, gardening and most importantly spending time with her family and canine companions, "Max and Molly."

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, of 25 years, James Zupancic; sons, David and Jeff Dickens; granddaughter, Janelle Dickens; mother, Alice Tressler; brother, Clyde (Elaine) Tressler; sister, Shirley Denomy; and cousin, Joyce (Phil) Bernard. In addition to her father, Sharon was preceded in death by her first husband, Todd Dickens, Sr.; son, Todd Dickens, Jr.

The family will receive guests Friday, May 18, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
