Sharon L. Rice, age 66 of Toledo, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 21, 2011. She was born on March 9, 1945 to William and Hazel Myers in Toledo. Sharon's pride and joy were her grandchildren, they were very precious to her and she loved spending time with them.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Timothy F. Rice; daughters, Valerie (Mark) Miller and Dawn (Chuck) Carnes and grandchildren, Chuckie and Cameron Carnes.
The family will receive guests Wednesday from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
