Sharon R. Ludlow

Sharon (Kawczynski) Ludlow, age 70, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born on September 13, 1942 to Dorothy and Thaddeus Kawczynski in Toledo. Sharon married Martin Ludlow on May 16, 1964 and they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2014. She was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1960 and also Stautzenberger Business College. Sharon loved to go camping with her family, ceramics and her German shepherd, Heidi.

Sharon retired from Toledo Public School System in 2009; prior to that she worked at Gendron Wheel in Archbold. She was also a member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns.

She was preceded in death by her father; aunts, uncles and grandmother, with whom she spent many of her younger days with. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Marty; daughter, Kathleen Borck; son, Christopher (Michelle) Ludlow; mother, Dorothy; grandchildren, Jonathan and April Ludlow; sister, Patti Olszewski; brother, Robert Olszewski; nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). The Rosary will be recited in the funeral home Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at Noon. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Maumee.
