Sharon L. Monteith, 66, of Erie, Michigan died Monday April 5, 2004 at Toledo Hospital. She was born November 16, 1937 in Toledo the daughter of the late Robert and Arleen (Verrier) Dimon. She was a veteran of the United States Navy. She was currently employed as the apartment manager for The Wellington Apartments in Sylvania, and the Regal Oaks Apartments in Toledo. She also did volunteer work at the Lyons Den.
Survivors include son Robert Glenn Monteith of Toledo; daughters Melissa Witulski of Goodrich, Michigan, and Melanie Allen of Toledo; sisters Carol Eicher of Lindsey, Mickey Carty of Florissant, Missouri, Judie Henricks of Napolean, Beverly Crampton of Whitehouse, Diane Braker of Toledo, Debra Dipasquale of Stuart, Florida, Becky Baily of Perrysburg, Linda Thomas of Fort Pierce, Florida; brothers Robert Dimon Jr. of Bowling Green, and Thomas Dimon of Dover, New Hampshire; grandchildren Jocelyn, Taylor, Regan, and Jordan.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419) 473-0300. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the funeral home at 2:00 P.M. The family requests tributes be made to the American Cancer Society.
She was an incredibly strong woman that was always on the go, and so full of life's energy. She had been blessed with many wonderful friends and family.
