Sharon J. Kovacs

Sharon J. Kovacs, age 61, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Monday, June 22, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born December 16, 1947 to Clifford and Jean (Mackey) Rine in Green Co., Pennsylvania. Sharon was a dog lover. She was a very happy, high-spirited lady, always bringing a smile to everyone's face. Sharon will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Nickelsen and one of her canine companions, Mugzie. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Jose Kovacs; son, Brice (Vera) Nickelsen; daughter, Kas Miller; 3 grandchildren; father and mother-in-law, Laszlo and Angeles Kovacs; sister-in-law, Vicky (Scott) Puszczewicz; and her canine companion, Pepi.

There will be no visitation for Sharon and private family services were held. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff and caregivers at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all of their loving care and support given to Sharon and her family through this difficult time.
