Sharon H. Grimes, age 71, of Temperance, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born on October 15, 1942 to George and Hyacinth Lantz, Sr. in Toledo. Most important to Sharon was caring for her family, they were her pride and joy.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 38 years, Gerald Grimes; children, Joyce, Laurie, Jerry, Brad and Tammy; grandchildren, Brett, J.D., Jamie, Jeff, Jazzmin, Albre, Chuckie, Joey, Orien, Bradley and Caleb; many previous great-grandchildren; siblings, George "Boo" and Beverly and canine companion, Duke. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, John.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
