Sharon E. Carter, passed away peacefully on October 6 2024, in Sylvania Township, Ohio. Born on June 14, 1939, in Bedford, Michigan, she lived a full and vibrant life, marked by her warmth, kindness, and love for others.

Sharon was a true people person, known for her engaging and friendly demeanor. Her passion for working in retail allowed her to connect with countless individuals, spreading joy and positivity wherever she went. She was not only a beloved figure in her workplace but also a nurturing soul who had an immeasurable love for animals. It is said that she never met an animal she did not attempt to feed, demonstrating her profound kindness toward all living beings.

Her interests extended beyond her work; Sharon was an avid gardener and a remarkable cook, known for growing some of the best tomatoes in her community. Her fun-loving nature made her a cherished presence among family and friends. Whether in the garden or the kitchen, her talents were a source of pride and joy for those who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her loving daughters, Connie Brilla and husband John, Jodi Livecchi and husband Richard, and Melissa Roseborough and husband Bryan. She also leaves behind her siblings: Patricia Dusseau and husband Pete, Joel McCormick, Karen Lubinski, Andrea Smith and husband Larry, Michelle Rospert and husband William, Edward McCormick, and Debra Fitch and husband George.

In addition to her immediate family, Sharon was the proud grandmother to John III, Jason, Sean, Angela, Carisa, Genevieve, Sonika, Heather, Dakota, and Trenton. She was also a great-grandmother to Kaydence, Jesse, Jensen, and Ryleigh, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanne Miller and brother James McCormick, whose memory will remain cherished in the hearts of her family.

Visitation for Sharon will be held on October 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM, both taking place at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623.

Sharon E. Carter's legacy of kindness, love, and generosity will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
