Shari Ann Schafer, 58, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. Shari was born to the late Jerrold and Crystal (Cairl) Trumbull of Sylvania, Ohio on January 9, 1963.
She attended Sylvania Southview High School. Shari married Matthew N. Schafer on July 7, 1984.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Schafer; children, Cassandra (Luke) Dickmann and Corey Schafer, James Thornton and Tyler Wade; grandchildren, Cyrus, Derek, Ava, Isabella, Parker, and Pyper; brothers, John (Helen) Trumbull, Alan (Robin) Trumbull, Scott (Karen Jensen) Trumbull; sister, Cindy Finnegan; niece, Judy (Robert) McNamara; nephews, Sam and Pete Finnegan; and special friends Tina Papio and Velmeetta Moody.
The family will receive guests Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Springfield Township, Holland.
