Shannon G. Schaffer, 33, passed away on June 24, 2014. He was born on September 11, 1980 in Toledo, Ohio.
Shannon attended Bowsher High School. He had many talents and wore many hats in life. Most recently he enjoyed his career in Security. Shannon enjoyed being outdoors where he was one with nature, especially when fishing and hunting. He had a special love for all animals. Shannon was a life-long Browns fan who had a passion for cooking and eating good food. He deeply adored and was very loved by his children, nieces and nephews. Shannon's family will miss his goofy sense of humor. He was a big man with a heart to match.
Shannon was welcomed into Heaven by his grandpa, Harold T. "Sonny" Anderson and uncle, Jim Schaffer. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Kelsey and Kendra; son, Sylas; his love, Nicole Pass; parents, Peggy Anderson and Raymond (Cheryl) Schaffer; siblings, Seneca (Misty), Raven (AJ) Stokes and Codi (Tim) Sandwisch; nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Eliot, Nevaeh, Marissa, Kamryn, Kennedy, Lincoln, Sammy G., Elliott and Kendall; grandparents, Gerri Anderson and Alex and Betty Schaffer; special friends, Nick and Amanda Kamer; a huge family and countless friends.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m.
