Selma Fisher

Selma L. (Dombrowski) Fisher, age 78, passed away on October 15, 2014 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 22, 1936 in Haskins, OH to Roy and Helen Dombrowski.

Selma attended Lake High School and graduated from Scott High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for several different companies over the years and retired from Toledo Turf. She had a life long love of dogs and worked full time as a dog groomer for several years in the 1970's.

Selma married the love of her life, Kenneth Fisher in September of 1993 and he survives. She is also survived by her brother, Gerald Dombrowski, daughter Mary Hartford (Brian Vaughn), step-sons Christian (Rachel) and Alan Fisher, granddaughters Rachel Hartford, Andrea (Keith) Makin, Rebecca Brundage, and Brianna Fisher, grandsons Jason Hartford and Gregory Brundage, four great grandchildren, and her beloved dog Charlie. Sadly, Selma was preceded in death by her sons Jeffery and Daniel Brundage and her parents.

The family will receive guests Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 6:00 pm. in the funeral home.
