Scott James Knestrick

Scott J. Knestrick, age 53, of Toledo, passed away Friday, March 25th, 2011 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born May 8th, 1957 to James and Joyce (Cousino) Knestrick in Toledo, Ohio. Scott was employed with Decorative Panels International for more than 32 years. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan supporting them faithfully. Scott also followed the L.A. Dodgers and the Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed bowling and was a league member of USBC for several years. Scott was a man who appreciated the simple things in life and he will be remembered for his kind heart and friendly smile.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Knestrick and nephews, Todd "Stickman" and Chris. Scott is survived by his loving wife of two years, Bethany A. Knestrick; mother, Joyce Knestrick; sisters, Sharon (Kevin) and Shanna (Smitty) and several special nieces and nephew, Jaimee (Chris), Jen (Marv), Nik (Chris), Beck (Mike) and Jess, Josh; great nieces, Raina, Lorelai "Loli Pop" and Lily and many extended family members.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 p.m.
