Scott Daniel Easterwood

Scott Daniel Easterwood age 63, a lifelong resident of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Toledo on October 26, 1961, to Delbert and Barbara (Constantine) Easterwood. 

Scott graduated from Maumee High School (Penta) in 1979. He was a union carpenter and member of Local 351 for 39 years. Scott was employed at Rudolph Libbe Construction and over the years, took part in building Toledo along with many re-building projects. He enjoyed fishing, camping; boating, NASCAR, watching his favorite teams, the Cleveland Browns and Michigan Wolverines; and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his children, Reid S. (Sabrina) Easterwood and Erin E. (Jim) Rehkopf; former wife, Kelly Easterwood; grandchildren, Anabella, Carter and Emma Rehkopf; siblings, Deborah Miller, John (Andrea) and Randy Easterwood. Also surviving is many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Danny Easterwood and nephew, Geoffery Easterwood.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Sunday February 16, 2025, from 3:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
