Scott Doremus

Scott B. Doremus, age 55 of Toledo passed away Monday, June 14th, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. On August 26th, 1954 he was born to William C. and Barbara J. (Szymanski) Doremus in Toledo, Ohio. Scott was a retired postal worker who was an avid outdoorsman, who often enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with his family. Scott was also a former Mason and he was involved with the Boy Scouts of America.

Scott is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Theresa (Heyse) Doremus; two sons, Eric and Will Doremus; father, William C. Doremus; siblings, Steve Doremus, Stan (Laura) Doremus and Sherry (Kenny) Clark; aunt, Ruby (Leroy) Samson; grandchildren, Breanna, Dakota and Alex and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). There will be a final salute rendered by the Boy Scout Troop #68 at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis Lauman. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
