Sarah Elizabeth Phillips-Putz, 34, of Toledo, was born to William Phillips Jr. and Kim (Starr) Phillips on September 8th, 1989 and went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2024. Sarah was a graduate of Otsego High School and later attended Stautzenberger Community College studying to become a Medical Assistant. While in school, Sarah worked as a waitress where she enjoyed making people smile and laugh while serving.
Later, Sarah met Jeff Putz and together have a beautiful son, Mason. Jeff and Sarah were joined together in Holy Matrimony in front of family and friends on January 8th, 2023.
Sarah had a passion for helping others and followed that calling and became a Wellness Advocate for natural healing and a representative for doTERRA. Through this opportunity, Sarah helped so many people cope with daily struggles by educating others how to use God's natural resources as intended and continually praying for others. Sarah was so selfless and committed to helping others and would be there for anyone in need at any time, day or night. There are so many testimonials of how Sarah helped people, and families, using natural methods and God's gift to earth.
On June 9th, 2019, Sarah committed her life to Christ through water baptism at Life Chapel Church in Walbridge, OH. Sarah was a dedicated servant to the church as a greeter, assisting in children's ministry, and volunteering to help with various events and services. Sarah's passion and love for the Lord was contagious as she helped so many people by sharing her love for Christ. Sarah later attended the Toledo School of Ministry to further her study of the bible and knowledge of Jesus. Sarah had so much fun with God's word often calling family and friends to quiz people about the bible….especially Craig!
Sarah's greatest love was her family, Jeff, and Mason. She was a devoted wife to Jeff and a loving, nurturing mother to Mason. Her family meant everything to her, and she found joy in creating a warm and loving home for them. Sarah's faith in Christ was the cornerstone of her life and she found strength and comfort in her beliefs, which she shared with her family and friends and anyone she met. Sarah enjoyed having family and friends over for cookouts and swimming, spending time on the lake with Jeff and Mason, taking family and friends to Cedar Point, vacationing in Tennessee, camping and of course, having a bible study!
Sarah will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the heart of her family, friends, church family and all those she helped throughout her life. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit and the impact she made on us will continue to inspire and uplift those who were touched by her kindness. Sarah's presence in this world has left an indelible mark and her legacy of love, faith and service will endure for generations to come. Rest in peace, dear Sarah, and may your spirit continue to shine brightly in the lives of those you have touched.

It wasn't me,
So please don't leave me begrudgingly.
There was a stronghold that held me down.
I screamed for freedom,
But it silenced my sound.
In and out of reality,
Fiercely fighting for love.
Looking for a glimpse of hope,
And strength from above.
The weapon never prospered,
My hope was in the word.
I fell short of his Glory,
But he still rose on the third.
So please keep the memories,
Of my spirit deep in praise.
And know I'd fight again,
Just to add numbers to my days.
In my loving memory,
Extend your hand to those in need.
Be polite, be kind, and silence your greed.
If I would I could, but couldn't anymore.
So for my soul, God opened the door.
A part of me is with you, smiling in my son.
The joy in his laugh and freedom in his run.
The innocence of his spirit is how I'm flying free...
Just remember to be the best that you can be.
Love Sarah,
For Eternity
