Sarah Grace Ayers

Sarah Grace Ayers, newborn daughter of Matthew and Jamie (Burnette) Ayers, passed away Wednesday, August 12th, 2009 at the University of Michigan Medical Center. She was born July 18th, 2009 in Toledo and was quickly diagnosed as having multiple congenital heart defects. Sarah's family were blessed with this beautiful little girl for only 27 days, but her memory will be forever in their hearts. At this very difficult time, Matthew and Jamie made a loving decision to allow Sarah's liver to be donated to another baby in need, so they will continue to find comfort in knowing that Sarah's death has brought life to another baby.

In addition to her parents, Sarah is survived by her brother, Noah and grandparents, Melvin and Lisa Kuhr and Earnest and Deborah Burnette, Jr. as well as a host of extended family and dear family friends.

The family will receive guests Tuesday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) followed by services at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ayers Family to assist with Sarah's medical expenses.
