Sarah Bovia-Christian

Sarah Bovia-Christian, age 29, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born on May 19, 1982 in Toledo. Sarah was passionate about her role as a wife and mother, she spent countless hours with her children; Lila, Stella and Brody, at the library, the museum and other educational places. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. Sarah will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sarah is survived by her loving husband of 9 years, Jim; adoring children, Lila, Stella and Brody; mom and best friend, Peggy Bovia; grandfather, Marvin Bovia, Sr.; honorary "sisters", her aunts, Tina (Al) Pacer and Marilyn Bovia; father-in-law, Bub (Mickey) Christian; mother-in-law, Deb (Don) Reick; sisters-in-law, Melissa and Lauren (Dave); and a host of many other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lila Bovia and grandfather-in-law, James Christian.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
