Sara L. Powell

Sara L. Powell, age 83, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 at her home. She was born April 5th, 1925 to Robert F. and Mary Estelle (McDonald) Austin in Toledo, Ohio. Sara enjoyed camping and playing cards. Sara was also a proud member of Faith Baptist Church and made many new friends. Most importantly, Sara cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sara was preceded in death by her son, Charles Fidell; grandson, Craig Michael Dunbar and brothers, William; Robert and Dick Austin. Sara is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon (John) Dunbar; granddaughters, Brandy Dunbar and Tracey (Tracy) Higgins; grandsons, Matthew (Laure) Dunbar; Randy Fidell; Kevin Dunbar; Jeff (Tonia) Fidell and Bryan (Vikki) Dunbar; great grandchildren, Brandon; Kimberly; Ashley; Megan; Eric; Christina; Jacob; Dylan; Emily; Jacob; Liam; Christopher; Katelyn and Hanna.

The family will receive guests Saturday beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 6245 Whiteford Center Rd., Lambertville, Michigan. A Memorial Service will begin Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the church.

Sara's Family would like to thank Jewel Washington for the friendship that she shared and the care and support that she provided for Sara.
