Sara (Crawford) Smith

Sara D. (Crawford) Smith, age 76, of Toledo, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1931 to Thomas and Ruby Guthrie in Tennessee. Sara was a devoted health care provider for over 20 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend who will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joanie Brown. Sara is survived by her spouse: Bob Crawford; children: Danny (Angie) Smith, Nancy (Ron) Wooley and Brenda (Danny) Vribes; step-daughter: Debbie (Ron) Sumner; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sisters: Sue Kennedy, Bertha Foster and Nell Garretson.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.
