Sandra Rhobasser

Sandra "Sandy" Rhobasser, age 44, of Toledo, ended her battle with cancer, Tuesday, October 9, 2007 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born April 18, 1963 to Charles and Ann (Drayton) Rhobasser in Anniston, Alabama. Sandy always remained positive and never complaining, all the while driving herself to and from Radiation daily, during her 8 minor surgeries. Her father Charles was always there by her side giving her great comfort. "Thanks Dad". She was a 1981 Graduate of DeVilbiss High School and a 1984 graduate of Davis Junior College. Sandy was employed with Toledo Tool & Die Company until she was too ill to work. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, word puzzles, going to carnivals and festivals, as well as traveling to Pensacola Beach, Florida enjoying many summer vacations with her mom. Sandy also enjoyed going to Sea World to watch the dolphins. Sandy loved her domestic cat "Lucky".

Sandra is survived by her father, Charles Rhobasser; sisters, Tammy (Dennis) Schmitt and Theresa Rhobasser; brothers-in-law, Greg Tavarez and James Garner; nieces and nephews, Ann Marie (Steve) Johnson; Gregory (Ashley Hammer) Travarez; Michael (Yuleidis) Garner; Tamra Garner and Paula Garner; great nieces and nephews, Stephanie Johnson; Steven Johnson; Michael Garner; Sierranina Tavarez; Gregory Tavarez; Bryce Hammer; Nevaeh Tavarez; Izzabella Tavarez and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sandy was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Rhobasser; sister, Tina and infant son, David.

Funeral Services and burial will be private.

The Rhobasser family would like to thank Dennis Schmitt for his help and support and Avundia Rodriguez for her prayers and visits. Thanks also to the staff of St. Vincent's and Hospice.
