Sandra L. Rivers (Streets), age 66, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2014. She was born on July 15, 1947 to the late Betty and Dwight Streets in Toledo, Ohio.
Sandy retired from the Lucas County Public Library after many years as a Clerk. She also worked at the Lucas County Jail as a Correction Officer. Sandy enjoyed playing Bingo and going to horse races and casinos. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband and companion of 22 years, Richard; children, Thomas (Tanya) Geiner, Susan Geiner; siblings, Pamela (Bill) Sievert, Connie (Martin) Arenas; grandchildren, Johnathan, Madison and Tessa; beloved aunt, Eva Martens and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900).
