Sandra L. Knaggs
Sandra L. Knaggs, age 61, of Sylvania passed away Thursday, August 19th, 2004 in Heartland of Browning in Waterville. She was born October 2, 1942 to Leonard and Mary (Laurell) Wicks in Toledo. Sandy was a Dental Lab Assistant for the former Dresch Dental Labs for 13 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star: Woodbine Chapter and Harvest Community E.U.B. Church of Toledo. Sandy enjoyed working on ceramics. She was known for her ability to bake the "best pies ever" and she sold them at many festivals throughout the area.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her nephews, Jeffrey and Bryan Wicks. She was loved and will be dearly missed by her loving family which includes her husband of 35 years, Paul W. Knaggs; brother, Melvyn (Annette) Wicks of Maumee; sister, Valerie (Ed) Harris of AZ.; nephews, Jason Decker; Dustin Wicks and Sonny Nowak; nieces, Tiffiny Wicks and Darlene Nowak; aunt, Tillie Mae (Laurell) Adkins and many dear friends.
The family will receive guests Monday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Clymer. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
